[0:49] Hey there! Welcome to a new episode of Inner Impact. Today, we are going to work with a few reflection prompts that will help you build or maybe refresh your weekly review. As I mentioned in the introductory episode, my goal for this podcast is to create a space for you to have a conversation with yourselves, gain insights, and turn them into action so you can create the joyful and impactful businesses and lives that you want from a place of internal alignment. So today we are starting from the basics, a short and sweet weekly review. Because having a weekly moment to notice and acknowledge what happened during the previous week, what you did, the progress you made, what worked, what didn’t, and how you felt, is a powerful practice to nurture your inner dialogue and take intentional aligned action. And it is also a way for you to stop and savor your progress, you know, the previous steps you took before rushing forward to the next step, to the next project, to the next goal.

[2:04] How The Episode Is Going To Work

[2:04] Okay, here’s how it is going to work. First, we are going to take a few moments to ground, so you can enter the right headspace and close the word outside for the time you need for your reflections. Then I will give you some prompts and a few minutes between each prompt, so you have the space and time to reflect on them. You can follow the prompts by journaling, or you could record yourself while reflecting out loud. You could also ponder the prompts in your mind and then write them or speak them out at a later time. In any case, I invite you to find a way that works for you to bring your reflections out of your mind so you can actually process them and let them help you gain insights and take action, of course.

[3:24] Grounding Exercise

[3:24] Okay, so let’s start with a short grounding exercise.

[3:30] Take a moment to settle into a comfortable position, maybe closing your eyes or softening your gaze if you can and want. Or if you are moving, try to connect with your body and your physical sensations. And if you like, you can place a hand on your upper chest to tune into your heartbeat and your body. Okay, now take three deep breaths at your own pace. Inhale deeply and exhale slowly. Allow your body to relax with each breath, letting go of any tension.

[4:35] Okay, now you are ready for your reflections. I am going to repeat each prompt twice, and then I will give you a couple of minutes to reflect, and then I will come back with another prompt.
